In an ever-changing world it is vital that all children become digitally competent. At Lamphey Primary School we ensure that all of the children have a sound knowledge and a positive attitude in the use of this ever-evolving technology. This ensures that the children become confident, creative and safe in the use of ICT.
The skills are taught through formal lessons, where a specific skill is embedded, but more importantly through the use of ICT across the curriculum. Not only are the pupils able to use a variety of hardware such as Apple Macs, iPads and laptops, they can also become more creative by developing their coding skills through the use of Raspberry Pi and Control Lego. We confidently believe that the pupils have all the skills needed to stay digitally competent and safe in an ever-changing world.
