To pupils, parents & carers
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends,
It is my absolute pleasure and privilege to be the Headteacher of this warm welcoming primary school. Nestled in the heart of our village, our school boasts an extremely positive, friendly, and inclusive ethos that provides an enriching education for every child.
We are home to approximately 190 pupils aged between three and eleven, organised into six mixed-age classes catering to ages 4 to 11. Additionally, our part-time nursery class forms an integral part of our Early Years unit, allowing us to nurture the youngest members of our school community.
At our core, our mission is to encourage and develop each child’s abilities and talents, helping them grow into confident, independent individuals. We believe that it is essential for our pupils to develop the ability to think critically and reason effectively, understanding how a positive mindset can contribute to their success.
We hold high expectations for every individual, fostering a culture of respect, pride, and aspiration. Our excellent team of staff takes the time and care to build strong relationships with the children and their families. Together, we work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our pupils. Our staff operates as a caring and supportive unit, believing in one another and encouraging our children to have self-belief as well.
Together, we strive to inspire one another to become the best versions of ourselves. There is a great sense of community within our school, and effective learning is woven into everything we do. We are dedicated to ensuring high engagement through inclusive learning activities that are accessible for all.
I am truly proud of our children and staff, and it is a privilege to work in such a wonderful place. I look forward to another exciting and successful year ahead as we continue to grow and learn together.
