Red Nose Day Friday 20th March

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Red Nose Day is back this Friday, 20th March, and we invite everyone to join in the fun as we come together to do something funny for money, all in support of those who need it most around the world. We kindly ask for a donation of £1.

We will join thousands of schools up and down the country to take part in the theme of ‘take themselves funny for money’. Comic Relief are asking the nation to come together to change serious stuff for the better, all through simple acts of silliness.

Here’s what we’ve got planned:

-Pupils can come to school in non-school uniform, dressed funny, dressed in red – how far you want to take it is up to you!

– Pupils can have their nose painted red or wear a red nose.

-There will be various fun activities for pupils to participate in within class that will bring laughter throughout the morning.

Why are we doing this?

Because right now, growing numbers of people are living in fear. Fear for their safety, that they won’t be able to meet their basic needs. And that’s one serious problem we can do something about. Together. Red Nose Day would be nothing without wonderful people like you!

Thank you, for your continued support.

Kind regards,

K Jones
